Existing Training Requirement
This course is available exclusively to technicians certified in microblading or permanent makeup (eyebrows) with in-person training. If your certification is limited to lip blush, skin camouflage, areola, freckles, or scalp micropigmentation, this course is not suitable.
Active & New Technicians
We verify your status as an active microblading or permanent makeup technician via your social media profiles or website. Inactive profiles may affect your certification or eligibility to purchase Botched Ink serum. This does not apply to new technicians; your training certificate will suffice.
Licensing & Insurance
It is your responsibility to confirm that offering saline tattoo removal or lightening treatments is permitted at your location. Additionally, ensure that your insurance policy covers saline tattoo removal and the use of Botched Ink products.
Removal Trainers
We do not offer training or supply Botched Ink serum to removal trainers or technicians affiliated with training companies that offer removal services without prior agreement. This policy prevents conflicts of interest. Only trainers with an active, signed training agreement with us are authorized to offer or associate with Botched Ink treatments or training.
Body Tattoos, Eyeliner & Lip Tattoos
Botched Ink is not approved for use on body tattoos, eyeliner, or full lip tattoos. While Botched Ink is highly effective for eyebrows, lip liner, freckles, and small areas of scalp micropigmentation, it poses risks for other areas. Body tattoos include camouflage tattoos on the face or body and medical tattoos like areola reconstruction
Being a Botched Ink Tech
As an official Botched Ink tech, we're in this together. Botched Ink is a brand you represent, not just another product in the drawer!
It's essential to stay updated with our latest treatment recommendations to ensure the safety and success of your procedures. This includes subscribing to our emails, reviewing our official tech resources, and participating in the Botched Ink Facebook support group
Exclusive Benefits for Botched Ink Techs
- Access to online tech resources, promotional materials, and advertisements
- Free online training updates and refresher courses
- Private Facebook group for ongoing support
- Monthly Zoom meetings with Lisa
- Regular email updates and industry news
Brand Integrity & Conflicts
In rare instances, we may need to terminate our relationship with a technician, thereby restricting access to Botched Ink serum and use of our trademarks. This may occur if the technician:
- Begins offering unauthorized saline tattoo removal training
- Practices against our recommended safety protocols
Our primary goal is to maintain positive relationships, and we address these issues through education and understanding first
Find a Tech Map Listing
Listing on the Botched Ink Find a Tech map is not guaranteed. We feature active technicians who likely have in-date Botched Ink serum. A valid business website or social media presence, displaying you as a PMU or microblading technician, is required for listing. We reserve the right to exclude those who do not meet these criteria
Being clear and transparent from the start, shows our commitment to the support and guidance we offer Botched Ink techs, and care for the clients who visit them
Revised & Upgraded
In November 2023, we launched an enhanced version of our Botched Ink® online training. This revamped course, which leads the industry in cosmetic tattoo removal, features easy-to-understand fundamentals alongside our specialized Correction & Removal Specialist course
We are proud to offer a next-level training experience, including both courses and a model class. Completing the online pre-study is mandatory before you begin working on models. Our model class is designed to provide expert tips from experienced trainers, and you'll have the opportunity to observe and work on multiple models
