Botched Ink® is for PMU removal only

Botched Ink® is intended for the correction and removal of cosmetic tattoos in the following approved areas:

Eyebrows, lip liner, freckles and small areas of scalp micropigmentation

It is not intended for eyeliner, body tattoos, paramedical tattoo removal, scar camouflage or the removal of pigment from previously damaged or compromised skin

Our training does not authorise the use of Botched Ink outside these approved treatment areas, regardless of your existing qualifications or experience

Refunds & Access

By purchasing our online saline tattoo removal training or Botched Ink® conversion course, there are no refunds for any reason

Students are automatically enrolled on the course after payment. It is your responsibility to check that you meet the enrolment requirements for the course you select, these are clearly listed with each course.

You receive lifetime access to the online training course you enrol in. After successfully completing your Botched Ink® training, you’ll also gain access to our private Botched Ink® technician spaces for ongoing guidance, updates, and community support.

Botched Ink® is built on being a trusted and supportive brand, for both technicians and clients, and this continued connection reflects that commitment. It’s what sets us apart within the removal industry.

Existing Training Requirement

Botched Ink® training is for active microblading or PMU (eyebrow) artists

IMPORTANT: If your existing certification is only in lip blush, skin camouflage, areola, freckles, scalp micropigmentation or another specialist tattooing field, you are still welcome to take our online training and benefit from the extensive removal theory, skin knowledge, treatment planning, case studies and practical guidance we share throughout the course. However, completing the training alone will not qualify you as an Official Botched Ink® technician or give you access to Botched Ink® products, technician spaces or brand benefits. These are reserved for artists who meet our existing PMU training requirements, unless prior approval has been given by Lisa Henning, owner of Botched Ink®

Active & New Technicians

We check that you’re actively working as a microblading or PMU artist via your social media or website. Inactive profiles can affect your certification or supply of Botched Ink® serum. This does not apply to UK or Worldwide beginners as we can verify this from your training certificate.

Licensing & Insurance

It’s your responsibility to make sure you’re licensed and insured to offer saline removal or lightening where you work, and that your insurance recognises saline tattoo removal and Botched Ink®.

Saline Removal Trainers

We do not train or supply saline removal trainers (or associated PMU artists). This is a conflict of interest. Only trainers with an active, signed Botched Ink® Approved Trainer agreement may associate themselves with our treatments or training.

Body Tattoos, Eyeliner & Lip Tattoos

Botched Ink® is approved for eyebrows, lip liner, freckles and small areas of scalp micropigmentation only.

It must not be used on body tattoos, eyeliner, full lip tattoos, under-eye or body camouflage, or medical tattoos such as areola. These areas carry additional risks and fall outside our approved treatments.

If you primarily offer body tattooing, eyeliner or lip tattoos contact us before booking. Using Botched Ink® on unapproved areas will result in the removal of Official Technician status and access to further product supplies

Paramedical Tattooing & Camouflage Removal

Botched Ink® is intended for cosmetic tattoo correction and removal within our approved treatment areas only. It must not be used for paramedical tattoo removal, scar camouflage, areola tattoos or previously damaged or compromised skin. Existing paramedical qualifications do not extend its approved uses.

Using Botched Ink® on unapproved areas will result in the removal of Official Technician status and access to further product supplies.

Paramedical and specialist tattoo artists are welcome to take our online training for its removal theory and skin knowledge. However, Official certification and product access remain subject to our PMU eyebrow training requirements.

If you primarily offer paramedical or camouflage tattooing, contact us before booking.

Being a Botched Ink® Tech

As an official Botched Ink® tech, you represent the brand, and the standards of every other artist we’ve trained. This isn’t just another saline bottle in the drawer.

It’s your responsibility to stay up to date with our treatment advice and recommendations. Ongoing learning is what ensures safe, effective results and easy healing for clients. We keep you informed through email, and our private support group.

Official Botched Ink® Tech: Status & Benefits

Conflicts for Botched Ink as a Brand

There might be instances where we need to part ways with a technician we've trained, preventing them from purchasing Botched Ink serum, or using our trademarks

The main reasons have been that the technician:

• Started offering a saline removal course

• Working on clients against our training advice or safe practice. Our first intention is to maintain the relationship with understanding and education

Listing on our Find a Tech Map

Being listed on the Botched Ink Find a Tech map isn't guaranteed. We feature active technicians who likely have in-date Botched Ink saline solution available. If a tech doesn’t have their own business website or social media page, showing them as a named permanent makeup or microblading tech, we reserve the right to not list

Being clear and transparent from the start, shows our commitment to the support and guidance we offer Botched Ink techs, and care for the clients who visit them

Trademarks ®️

Botched Ink® is a registered trademark for the product and training

The trademark is owned by Lisa Henning, the owner, developer and head trainer of Botched Ink®. Permission is given to approved Botched Ink® techs and trainers to promote proper use or associate themselves with the brand and our trademarks
