Official Botched Ink® Tech: Status & Benefits

Specialist training. Professional recognition. Exclusive benefits

A status worth maintaining...

Being an Official Botched Ink® Technician is more than having access to exclusive product pricing

It represents your investment in understanding the Botched Ink® removal method, your commitment to professional correction and removal, and your place within an established network of trained and supported technicians

Our Official Technicians have helped build the reputation of Botched Ink® through their work with real clients, their removal expertise and the results they achieve

Official status is something you've earned through training, and we want it to remain valuable

Your Official Technician Benefits

Once you've successfully completed your Botched Ink® training and met our eligibility * requirements, you'll receive:

  • Exclusive Official Technician pricing on Botched Ink® products.

  • Official Technician recognition and permission to use our Official branding.

  • Find a Tech Map listing *, helping potential clients locate trained Botched Ink® Technicians.

  • 1-to-1 client and case support, directly from Lisa.

  • Group support from other Official Botched Ink® Technicians.

  • Ongoing access to your training, including the full Botched Ink® removal methodology.

  • Opportunities for brand visibility, including selected Instagram collaborations and promotional activities.

These benefits distinguish Official Technicians from Professional users, who are verified PMU artists approved to purchase Botched Ink® without completing our specialist training.

Maintaining Your Official Status

To maintain active Official Technician status and exclusive pricing, you must continue to be an active PMU artist and maintain a professional relationship with Botched Ink®.

We recognise that removal treatment volumes vary. Regular purchasing is not a requirement in itself.

However, if you've had no purchasing activity or contact with Botched Ink® for several years, your Official status may become dormant until we can verify your current professional activity.

Maintaining active status also requires responsible product use in accordance with our training guidance, approved treatment areas and professional standards.

Find a Tech Map Eligibility *

Our Find a Tech Map is designed to help clients locate active, trained Botched Ink® Technicians.

To qualify for and maintain a listing, you must have an active professional website or social media profile showing your PMU work, either through your own business or with you clearly identified as a practising artist.

Map listings are available to eligible, active Official Technicians and are not included with Professional purchasing accounts.

Returning After a Period of Inactivity?

You're always welcome back!

If your Official status has become dormant, we'll review your current PMU activity and previous Botched Ink® training before considering reinstatement.

Depending on how long you've been away and your current professional experience, you may be asked to refresh your Botched Ink® training before your Official status and exclusive pricing are restored.

Refresher training is provided free of charge.

Your original training history remains recognised. A refresher simply helps ensure your knowledge of the Botched Ink® method and current guidance is up to date.

Reinstatement is considered individually and is subject to meeting our current professional eligibility requirements.

Purchasing as a Professional User

Previously trained technicians who are not currently active Official Technicians may apply for a Botched Ink® Professional Account.

Professional Accounts allow verified, active PMU artists to purchase Botched Ink® at our normal Professional price without holding active Official status.

Professional purchasing access does not include Official Technician pricing, branding, map listing or individual case support.

You must remain an active, verified PMU artist to qualify for either purchasing route. Previous training alone does not guarantee continued access to Botched Ink® products.

Protecting Our Professional Standards

Botched Ink® is a specialist PMU correction and removal brand, and the professionals representing it are an important part of our reputation.

Official Technicians are expected to use Botched Ink® responsibly, follow our current training guidance and work only within our approved treatment areas.

Botched Ink® is approved for use on:

  • Eyebrow permanent makeup

  • Lip liner

  • Freckles

  • Small areas of scalp micropigmentation

It is not approved for body tattoos, eyeliner, full lip tattoos, under-eye or body camouflage, medical tattoos including areola tattooing, or previously damaged or compromised skin.

We reserve the right to review, suspend or withdraw Official Technician status, associated benefits and product purchasing access where professional eligibility or product-use requirements are no longer met.

During a period of dormant, suspended or withdrawn Official status, technicians must not represent themselves as currently Official, use Official Technician branding or claim active Official benefits.

A Reputation We Build Together

Botched Ink® has never been just about selling a removal solution.

Our reputation is shaped by the professionals using our products, the clients who trust them and the real correction and removal results they achieve.

Every Professional user is a verified PMU artist. Our Official Technicians take that relationship further through dedicated training, ongoing support and recognised specialist knowledge.

Your training history and achievements remain recognised. It's the ongoing benefits of active Official status that require you to remain professionally active and connected to the brand.

We value the technicians who have invested in Botched Ink® and remain committed to making Official status something worth earning, maintaining and being proud of.
