Botched Ink Non-Laser Tattoo Removal Training

The course focuses on non-laser tattoo removal techniques, see the full Course Syllabus in a tab below! This course is insurance approved, without the need for additional case studies. You'll review lots of theory about the removal treatment, focusing on you as cosmetic tattoo artists

• 💻 Correction & Removal Specialist (online): 1 hour advanced pigment knowledge, helping permanent makeup artists understand the pigment they’ll be removing, and how to get the best results

• 🌟 Certificate of Achievement: After completing our fully accredited online saline removal training course, you’ll receive our certification to gain insurance

• 📞 1-2-1 Call: Book a call with us after your first client or model, to debrief and ask us any questions. This call is with Lisa, your trainer and the owner of Botched Ink

🧡 12 months to complete our online permanent makeup removal course, afterwards approved techs get continued access to our saline removal course in the tech resources, plus ongoing support from us at Botched Ink

Free Updates & Refreshers 

Once you’ve completed Botched Ink® training, approved techs have continued access to both the Saline Tattoo Removal with Botched Ink® and Correction & Removal Specialist online training courses

We also provide ongoing support through a private Facebook support group, which is full of advice and tips, plus all the support we offer from Botched Ink® head office via message, email, or phone.

Additional items needed:

• Cavilon cream or film sachets for client aftercare

• 5 round liner needle cartridge (or we have a 5RL hand tool)

• Medium pigment cups (not pigment rings)

• Plus your usual treatment set up, cotton pads, buds and wipes

IMPORTANT TO READ BEFORE BOOKING

Successful completion of the course is required to receive certification and access to official tech benefits. Completing the course is a crucial step towards becoming a successful permanent makeup removal therapist

Existing Training Requirement: Botched Ink and our training, is available to technicians already certified in microblading or permanent makeup (eyebrows) after receiving in-person training. If you’re only certified in lip blush, skin camouflage, areola, freckles or scalp micropigmentation, our training is not suitable for you

Active & New Technicians: We check that you’re currently working as a microblading or permanent makeup technician via your social media or website. Inactive profiles may affect your certification or supply of Botched Ink serum. This doesn’t apply to new permanent makeup techs, we can see this from your training certificate

Licensing & Insurance: It’s your responsibility to check you’re allowed to offer saline tattoo removal or lightening treatments at your location, and that your insurance company recognises saline tattoo removal and Botched Ink

Removal Trainers: Without prior agreement, we do not offer any removal training, or supply Botched Ink serum to removal trainers, or techs working for training companies offering removal. This is a conflict of interest. Only trainers who hold an active signed training agreement with us, can offer or associate themselves with Botched Ink treatments or training

Areas Not Approved for Botched Ink Use

Body Tattoos, Eyeliner & Lip Tattoos: Botched Ink is not approved for use on these areas. Botched Ink is an advanced removal serum, and what makes it so wonderful for eyebrows, lip liner, freckles and small areas of scalp micropigmentation, make it too risky or dangerous for other areas. Body tattoos includes not being suitable for camouflage tattoos under eyes or on the body, and medical tattoos such as areola

Training is conducted online, or at a dedicated training academy, ensuring high-quality education. Conflicts for Botched Ink as a Brand

There might be instances where we need to part ways with a technician we’ve trained, preventing them from purchasing Botched Ink serum, or using our trademarks

The main reasons have been that the technician:

• Started offering Saline Tattoo Removal training

• Working on clients against our training advice or safe practice. Our first intention is to maintain the relationship with understanding and education

Listing on our Find a Tech Map

Being listed on the Botched Ink Find a Tech map isn’t guaranteed. We feature active technicians who likely have in-date Botched Ink available. If a tech doesn’t have their own business website or social media page, showing them as a named PMU or microblading tech, we reserve the right to not list

Combining with a Laser Tattoo Removal Course

Permanent makeup removal specialists looking to achieve an advanced therapy qualification aimed at laser tattoo removal, will require additional training with a specialist laser tattoo removal training academy. We don’t provide laser removal training, we specialise in non medical aesthetic therapies

For those with a level 4 beauty therapy qualification, this can be a natural progression route to level 5 laser and IPL qualifications. For those with a Level 5 Certificate in Laser Tattoo Removal, the training aligns with national occupational standards for beauty therapy, making it relevant and inclusive of various elements related to beauty therapy. As you advance, you can also explore adding specific treatment modalities to your repertoire

In addition to these skills, the course provides training on laser tattoo removal treatments, including the removal of professional tattoos. This ensures that practitioners are well-equipped to offer a wide range of tattoo removal services, cosmetic permanent makeup, and traditional body tattoos

If you’re looking to work on live models, you can book with one of our Approved Botched Ink Trainers for an additional fee. By purchasing our online training, there are no refunds for any reason

When we enrol you online, you’re sent an email with login details to access the online training course. If you order the student kit plus online training, you’ll have 3 months to complete the course for certification. If you book online training only, you’ll have 12 months to complete the course. Enrolling in the permanent makeup removal course requires a commitment. After certification, approved Botched Ink techs have continued access to the online course for refreshers and any updates
